2011 Childhood Obesity Summit

The New Jersey Partnership for Healthy Kids is hosting a summit for leaders from across the state who are working to build and strengthen childhood obesity prevention activities in New Jersey .
- Connect with a growing network of local and statewide leaders and advocates
- Learn about the latest research that can help inform policies and practices in schools and communities
- Share successes and strategies for preventing childhood obesity in underserved communities across the state
- Inspire collaboration and strengthen partnerships
Interactive breakout sessions led by state and national leaders will focus on effective strategies for creating healthy communities that support and encourage healthy eating and active living. New Jersey Future’s Dan Fatton will lead a session on policy tools you can use.

New Jersey Partnership for Healthy Kids is a statewide program of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation with technical assistance and direction provided by the New Jersey YMCA State Alliance.
