State Planning Commission To Vote on State Strategic Plan

The final draft State Strategic Plan was released to the public on Nov. 9, and the State Planning Commission will meet on Nov. 13 to vote on its adoption.
New Jersey Future has released a statement on the final draft, applauding the administration for releasing an improved plan to guide the state’s growth and development in a way that balances the objective of promoting economic growth with that of protecting the environment. The statement points out areas where greater emphasis or specificity is still needed, and expresses the hope the plan will be adopted with the concerns addressed.
