Occupy Parking Lots: Applying Market-Based Policies to Transit Oriented Development

April 9, 2013
8:30 amto2:30 pm

On Tuesday, April 9, Raritan Valley Community College is hosting a conference entitled, “Occupy Parking Lots: Applying Market-Based Policies to Transit Oriented Development.” The conference will raise the idea of building on former parking lots near transit. Since there is a growing market for real estate near transit, this policy approach stands to benefit New Jersey’s builders.

Leading experts from the private sector, academia and environmental organizations will be featured. For more information, and to register online, please see the following link: www.raritanval.edu/market-based.

Have an upcoming event that deals with how New Jersey uses its land? Submit it to New Jersey Future’s calendar.
