City of Water Day Regional Resiliency Summit

July 19, 2013
8:00 amto12:30 pm

The Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance (MWA), a non-profit agency with a regional mission to “transform the New York and New Jersey Harbor and Waterways to make them cleaner and more accessible,” is hosting its 6th annual City of Water Day Festival on July 20, 2013 , the largest harbor festival in the NY/NJ metropolitan region. This year in light of recovery efforts post-Superstorm Sandy, MWA is expanding it’s festivities to include the City of Water Day Regional Resiliency Summit to be held on July 19th. Sponsored in association with Parsons Brinckerhoff, two distinguished panels will discuss their visions for an integrated regional approach against future storm events that focus on resiliency and livability.
