NJAFM’s 9th Annual Conference, titled “Charting a Course for Community Resilience” will educate elected officials and professionals involved in the field of floodplain and emergency management and the technical trades of engineering, surveying, planning, public works and code enforcement, who are eligible for continuing education credits, through a series of Plenary and topical Concurrent Sessions. The conference also includes a number of optional in-depth courses and networking events. This conference will be of great benefit to those who attend and what they bring back to his/her community, especially those involved with floodplain management, code enforcement and recovery from Hurricane Sandy.
NJAFM has located this year’s conference in Atlantic City at the Revel Casino Hotel – convenient for many that experienced the worst of Hurricane Sandy. To register for the conference or find out more on the activities of the Association and to join the NJAFM, the website address is: www.njafm.org.
