Environmental Justice, Advocacy, and The Media

The Citizens Campaign announced today a statewide conference, “Environmental Justice, Advocacy, and The Media” to showcase citizen empowerment programs throughout the state that are protecting the air, water, and land in our most vulnerable communities and the roles citizens can play with the media to cover and connect these issues.
Where: Alexander Library, 4th Floor at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. It is free and open to the public however, registration is strongly recommended due to limited seating. For more information and to register, click here.
This conference is designed to showcase urban environmental issues and focus on empowering citizens with the know-how that will enable them to connect with others, identify evidence-based solutions and communicate effectively about these important issues. This event is the 2nd in a series focused on environmental citizen journalism.
