Shaun Donovan, the secretary of the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development, will deliver the breakfast keynote at New Jersey Future’s annual Redevelopment Forum on March 1 at 8:30 AM.

Mr. Donovan has been tapped by President Obama to lead the federal government’s long-term planning and rebuilding efforts in areas affected by Superstorm Sandy. He will talk briefly about the strategies his task force is putting in place and the issues it will need to address, including housing, coastline restoration, transportation and infrastructure investments.

The Executive Order by President Obama charges the task force with “ensuring that the Federal Government continues to provide appropriate resources to support affected State, local, and tribal communities to improve the region’s resilience, health, and prosperity by building for the future.“

More about Mr. Donovan is available here.
