New Jersey Creative Placemakers is holding a Strategy Lab November 10 for community artists, planners, designers, and Paterson residents. We’ll workshop ways to program the space and better connect this great resource with Great Falls National Park and downtown Paterson through creative placemaking solutions. Friday’s lab will include a tour of this massive site followed by an outdoor creative workshop on connecting the community to the site. Saturday’s lab will include a Creative Placemaking activity followed by workshops on using the Art Factory’s spaces for art installations, performances, tactical urbanism, cultural events, food festivals, and more! We will cap off the event with a social hour to meet new people, talk about the day’s findings, and network.

This Strategy Lab is made possible by the Art Factory, Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts, and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.

The Art Factory in Paterson, a unique places for art, film, photography, theater and more, is looking for ideas to program free arts and cultural activities.
