NJ Spotlight on Cities

October 16, 2015
8:30 amto4:30 pm

New Jersey is often seen as a bedroom community for two of the largest cities in the United States. But it’s also a collection of cities on its own — 15 of which boast a population of 50,000 or more. Thus, the health of New Jersey depends in many ways on the health of its cities. How well are these urban centers prepared to thrive in the coming decades? What opportunities exist for those who live there now or who may move there in the future? What are the challenges and limitations? This conference promises to be an invigorating day of panels, talks and interactive presentations, all seeking ideas, insight and inspiration for New Jersey cities.

Location: New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Newark
