NJ Gubernatorial Candidate Town Hall: Murphy

Mark your calendar and get ready to meet your next New Jersey governor. Along with the Eagleton Center on the American Governor, is co-sponsoring intimate town halls with the state’s leading candidates at the Eagleton Institute of Politics on the Rutgers University-New Brunswick campus. You have a question for the candidates? You’ll have a chance to ask them.

On Sept. 27 at 7 p.m., Democrat Phil Murphy will join The Star-Ledger’s Tom Moran, who will moderate a discussion for an Facebook Live broadcast in front a limited audience at Eagleton’s Wood Lawn Mansion.

The following night, on Sept. 28 at 7 p.m.,  it’s Republican Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno’s turn.

Extreme Hurricanes and Climate Change

Is climate change responsible for the recent devastating hurricanes? How are scientists and policymakers grappling with this question? Join us for a free panel discussion with leading climate and water experts from academia, government, and the non-profit sector. The panel discussion will take place from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Sept. 27 at the opening night reception of “Politics of Water,” an exhibit at The Garden Club of Princeton Gallery at the Watershed Center.
