Delaware Estuary Teachers Workshop

This event will be held by the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary. Register to take a trip into the field to learn about stream health and aquatic life! This is an educational opportunity for teachers and a certificate for 5 professional development hours will be provided upon completion.

Topics will include the health and threats to local waterways. We’ll focus on the problem of stormwater, how it impacts our waterways, and how local groups are using “green infrastructure” (like rain gardens and rain barrels) to address the issue.

Solar Energy Pilot Program Stakeholder Meeting

The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities invites all interested parties and members of the public to a Stakeholder Meeting to discuss a number of issues to inform the development of the Community Solar Energy Pilot Program.On May 23, 2018, the Clean Energy Act was signed into law, directing the BPU to adopt rules and regulations establishing a Pilot Program within 210 days. This program will enable utility customers to participate in a solar energy project that may be remotely located from their properties and receive a credit on their utility bills for their participation in a community solar pilot project.
