Sunyoung oversees the Great Homes and Neighborhood for All (GHNA) initiative, including advancing a comprehensive action agenda through coalition building and coordinating the GHNA Steering Committee’s engagement.

She brings over 20 years of community organizing and advocacy experience working in transit, economic, and environmental justice. Her previous roles include serving as the campaign lead for the Los Angeles Bus Riders Union and as the political director leading the international feminist organizing school for Grassroots Global Justice Alliance. She holds a B.A. in Government from Smith College.
