Working for Smart Growth:
More Livable Places and Open Spaces

Internship Program

New Jersey Future internships offer undergraduate and graduate college students the opportunity to join our staff for a short time, typically over the course of a summer or a semester, to focus on a specific policy, research, or communications project. In addition to learning about a specific content area, interns gain exposure to our staff, programs, and campaigns through participation in policy discussions, meetings, and events. The internships thus provide students with both practical experience and insight into the realm of planning and public policy in New Jersey, which can advance their education, future job searches, and overall career development. Of course, interns enrich New Jersey Future in many ways as well! The unique perspectives and skill sets of our interns help stimulate innovation and growth throughout our organization.
