Program ManagerNew Jersey Future seeks an experienced, motivated individual to create a robust, transparent system of performance metrics designed to accelerate the improvement of water infrastructure systems. The position combines project management; work with metrics and data; stakeholder consultation and convening; and written and oral communications. We seek a highly organized candidate with a track record in moving projects forward and an interest in sustainable water systems who values the importance of measurements in advancing societal change and can operate independently and collaboratively. Program Assistant. New Jersey Future seeks a skilled, organized and motivated individual to provide administrative and communications support to the program team involved with projects dedicated to improving the state’s water quality and infrastructure. This includes assisting the team who serve as the backbone staff of the Jersey Water Works collaborative. This position will also support other areas of the organization. The program assistant will work within a collaborative team environment on a variety of tasks, including database and e-mail list management, website updates, basic print and electronic design work, scheduling and event support. Internship: Lead in Drinking Water. This internship primarily involves research, writing about and analytical review of key issues in the area of lead in drinking water. This work, which is in support of a 29-member statewide task force that New Jersey Future has organized, will help form the basis for a policy recommendations document that will be released in the fall of 2019.  Topics for required analysis include the replacement of lead service lines, public disclosure and transparency, regulatory compliance (e.g., water sampling and testing), model approaches to remediation in schools and child care facilities, analysis of projected costs, and potential financial solutions.
