Working for Smart Growth:
More Livable Places and Open Spaces

2023 NJ Planning and Redevelopment Conference

New Jersey Future and APA New Jersey are proud to present the annual New Jersey Planning and Redevelopment three-day conference convening virtually on June 21–22 and in person on June 23 at the Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick.

The 2023 New Jersey Planning and Redevelopment Conference will feature a multitude of timely session offerings as we reimagine land use in a rapidly changing and post-pandemic environment.

NJPRC23 will offer over 30 sessions, a virtual and in-person exhibit area, and ways to connect with fellow attendees as we bring together bold ideas, innovative solutions, proven concepts, and best practices for creating stronger, more inclusive, and equitable places where people live, work, and play. The preliminary conference format will feature a mix of concurrent sessions that are pre-recorded, live-streamed, and in-person. The virtual sessions will be available via Pheedloop with Zoom integration.

Join us by submitting a session proposal after reviewing the guidelines linked below. All session proposals must be submitted in full by Friday, March 3, 2023.

Please note that the Conference Committee is not only committed to diversity of topics and perspectives but the diversity of presenters as well. We believe the issues of systemic racism, segregation, and our legacy of inequality in land use and redevelopment must be tackled in a direct and proactive manner and we will be creating opportunities to do just that at this conference.
