Creative Urban Design

This workshop explores how to design outdoor spaces to achieve distinct purposes – such as performances, exhibitions, co-creation, individual creation, or meditation/inspiration. Participants will also learn how to design art-ful spaces to enhance circulation and civic engagement.

ArtsTank Creative Placemaking Conference

South Jersey Cultural Alliance (SJCA) invites you to attend the ArtsTank Creative Placemaking Conference. The event is comprised of the ArtsTank Competition, Financing Creative Placemaking presentation, and an Atlantic City Mural Tour. Attendees can enjoy the full day, or chose to take part in specific portions of the event.

The morning presentation on Financing Creative Placemaking by Leonardo Vazquez, Executive Director, the National Consortium for Creative Placemaking, will be followed by a networking lunch, and the ArtsTank Competition. There is also an optional add-on, hour-long, mural tour of Atlantic City, given by the Atlantic City Arts Foundation.

WEBINAR: One Water in the States

This webinar will spotlight the State Policymakers’ Toolkit, which was recently released by the US Water Alliance and the Council of State Governments. The State Policymakers’ Toolkit builds on the One Water for America Listening Sessions and the Seven Big Ideas for water by providing decision makers and advocates with models of successful initiatives and policies from states around the county who are working towards each goal listed in the Seven Big Ideas. New Jersey Future’s Managing Director, Water and Policy, Chris Sturm will be one of the speakers.
